I am a Financial Economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Risk and Economic Analysis. I was an assistant professor at the University of Alabama from 2019 - 2023, and served as visiting faculty at Southern Methodist University from 2017 - 2019. I hold a Ph.D. in Finance from Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and an M.S. in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
My research interests include corporate finance, institutional investors and investor behavior, and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance. I have research papers published at Management Science and the Review of Finance.
